Marzenna Schejbal, veteran of the Warsaw Uprising, dies.

As a young woman, Marzenna Schejbal helped lead fellow Home Army soldiers out of Warsaw through the underground sewers. Later taken POW, she survived the war and dedicated much of her life to promoting this history. This included many conversations with me about Zo and the war. It is a privilege to have known her – I will miss her no-fuss attitude to life very much.
